4/26/2002 Only a little of Turkey is on the European continent. And that's where most of Istanbul is. Uskudar is on the Asian side (Asia Minor). You have to cross the Bosperous to get there. There are two large new bridges across. But the ferry is more convenient from all the hotels and much nicer.
7/11/2006 Uskudar... so much things to talk about this place... I'm 17 and I'm living in Uskudar for 17 years, I know all the streets and so much people. My house is on the seaside (only 20 meters from the sea) and it has an amazing view. Unfortunately all the sources on internet shows Uskudar as an islamic place but it changed after 1999. Now Uskudar is a modern region. At 2008, the construction of the metro gates will finsh and the transportation will be easier. If you come to Istanbul visit Uskudar, don't miss that chance and if you want i can be your tourist guide :)

3/2/2007 There is Sözbir Residance Hotel in Uskudar.But it isn't cheap.It's the most luxuries hotel on the asian side.But service is fantastic
