9/8/2001 In the shadow of Kilic Ali Pasa Mosque and Tophane Fountain, this trendy little outdoor cafe is very inviting. Many of the patrons are collage students. This was one of the few times I truly felt like I was experiencing the true culture of Turkey and Istanbul. In the lower left corner, you might see a tray on a stand with a brass cup on it. That's a hookah pipe.

8/12/2005 Kilic ali Oggialli or Uccialli was killed at at the battle of lepanto Oct. 7,1571. Sardinians aboard the admiralship of Don John of Austria overpowered his crew and cut his head. He has a monument in his native Cutro ( calabria)
Kilic Oggialli lost the sea battle but escaped capture even though he had been injured by a cannon ball. It was his Vice Admiral who lost the head.
9/4/2005 Greetings, what a wonderful web-site and service that has been randered to humanith. May God be pleased with the ones who worked in this project and blessings be upon to Mimar Sinan, and Kilic Ali Efendis may there be many Mimar Sinans to come and infliuence pozitively every individual soul. NY
9/22/2006 Kilic Ali`s original name was Uluc Ali, though I do not know whether he was Italian or not. The name "kilic" (the sword)was given to him after he successfully brought back to Istanbul the remaining ships of the ottoman navy after the desastrous battle of Lepanto in 1571, in which he was in command of the right wing. The fact that M. Sinan constructed his mosque as a smaller and quite churchlike copy of S. Sophia long after he abandondoned his work on it (several mosques like Sehzade, Mirimah and - most famous - Süleymanye)would be in favour of him (Kilic) originally being a Christian. Read Hugh Biceno and Ulya Voigt-Göknil.
9/23/2006 Kiliç Ali Pasha or Uluç Ali Pasha was originally Giovanni Dionigi from Calabria he was the second commander of Ottomans during the Battle of Lepanto. Nico Luzzi

1/1/2013 Good post here. One thing I would like to say is that most professional cerear fields consider the Bachelor Degree like thejust like the entry level standard for an online certification. Though Associate Certifications are a great way to begin with, completing your current Bachelors starts up many doors to various jobs, there are numerous on-line Bachelor Diploma Programs available via institutions like The University of Phoenix, Intercontinental University Online and Kaplan. Another thing is that many brick and mortar institutions provide Online variations of their degree programs but generally for a greatly higher amount of money than the firms that specialize in online higher education degree programs.
1/3/2013 My husband and i ended up being rellay happy that Raymond managed to finish up his investigations using the ideas he received in your site. It's not at all simplistic just to continually be giving away instructions the rest have been selling. And we know we need the blog owner to thank because of that. The specific explanations you made, the easy website menu, the relationships your site make it easier to promote it's got all great, and it is letting our son and our family know that the matter is fun, which is quite indispensable. Many thanks for all the pieces!
