 9/30/2001 The dock in Uskudar is right next to two Sinan mosques; Iskele Mosque and Semsi Ahmet Pasa Mosque. They are just to the left of this shot beyond view. All the way to the right, you can see The Leander's Tower; also called Maiden's Tower and in Turkish, Kiz Kulesi or Kizkulesi. It was built by the Byzantines in the 12th century.
I could guess but regretfully, I don't know the name for any of the mosques you see here.
4/16/2002 UPDATE: It turns out that the little mosque behind that ferry boat is Semsi Pasa.
